About The Event
Yay! We’re back with one more #setreadyfilm for 2023 and so excited to feature local screenwriter Tarryn Gaffney and her script, The Last Professional Paperboy.
The Last Professional Paperboy won Best Short Film Screenplay at the 2023 Australia Independent Film Festival and the August 2023 Screenplay of the Month at Changing Face International Film Festival.
Tarryn has diverse interests and works, but this one is a mockumentary #comedy and will be a lot of fun! Get along to help Tarryn see it come to life and work with like minded creatives on a new work!
LOGLINE: When a 40 year old professional paperboy loses his job, he must find a new vocation suited to his unusual skills.

ABOUT TARRYN: Tarryn is a screenwriter from Yass Valley with her practice based around the ACT region.
Set Ready Film is an accessible, regular workshop held at Film Plus each month, for emerging practitioners to learn through practice: from writing to directing, acting and cinematography.
It’s an opportunity to get the practice you need to be ready for where it counts: on set / location!
