About The Event
We're back! And so excited to feature local screenwriter, Neil Smail and his script, Fishtrap Creek!

ABOUT NEIL:
Neil Smail is a Canberra-based screen writer and volunteer worker with people in need.
He’s also President, Australian Short Film Festivals, Inc, a member of Canberra Film-making Collective and Life Fellow, Communications and PR Australia.
Prior to 2014, Neil's worked as a TV, radio and print Journalist and editor, a diplomat, advertising manager, documentary producer/writer, film editor, award-winning PR consultant and senior public servant. He has also been a taxi driver, army lance-corporal and construction labourer.
Set Ready Film is an accessible, regular workshop held at Film Plus each month, for emerging practitioners to learn through practice: from writing to directing, acting and cinematography.
